At The Lavish Designs, we take pride in offering high-quality ethnic wear and accessories with utmost care. To ensure transparency and trust, here’s everything you need to know about our Refund and Exchange Policy.
1. No Return / No Exchange Policy

All products sold on www.thelavishdesigns.com are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

We follow this policy to maintain the quality, hygiene, and authenticity of our traditional garments and jewellery.
2. Exceptions – Damaged or Defective Products
Refunds or exchanges are considered only in cases of physical damage during shipping, and under strict conditions:
Eligibility Criteria:

You must report any damage within 48 hours of receiving the product.

A clear unboxing video is mandatory, showing:

The outer packaging

The shipping label
-
The damaged product clearly

Steps to Request a Return/Exchange:

Contact us via WhatsApp or email within 48 hours of delivery.

Share the unboxing video and details of the issue.

If your request is approved:

The product must be neatly packed with original tags.

We may arrange a reverse pickup, if available in your location.

In case reverse pickup isn’t available, you may be asked to courier the product yourself.

3. Refund Options
Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will offer you one of the following:

Store Credit – which can be used for future purchases on our website.

Refund via the original payment method (for prepaid orders)
⏳ Refunds may take 4–10 business days to reflect in your bank account, depending on your payment provider.
4. Deductions & Charges

If the product returned is found used, crumbled, or soiled, appropriate charges will be deducted from the refund.

If no manufacturing defect is found, forward and reverse shipping charges will be deducted before issuing any refund or store credit.
5. Color & Texture Disclaimer

Please note that slight variations in color, weave, and print are normal due to lighting, digital photography, and the handmade nature of many of our products.

These variations do not qualify as defects and are not eligible for return or exchange.
6. Print Sarees Note

For printed sarees, minor ink spills or irregularities may occur due to the complexity of the printing process. These are not considered damage.
7. Damaged Parcel Upon Delivery
If your parcel appears visibly damaged:

Refuse delivery and ask the courier to mark it as "damaged."

Contact us immediately with a photo of the parcel and a brief explanation.

We will assess the case and process a resolution accordingly.
8. Discretion
All refund and exchange decisions are subject to the sole discretion of The Lavish Designs.
